I installed a remo te start on a 2008 Honda Accord about a month ago. Everything worked well.....recently the user realized that the door chime would sound everytime the door was open (as though the key was in the ignition). They hadn't tried to start it remotely recently.

The fob no longer works on the doors or the trunk but the car wll crank but not fire.

It is a Prostart starter with a DBall bypass that I installed D2D.

Any ideas??

I guess the problem is about the remotes. Is that being strongly hit before? or Someone pierce the button of Trunk Release and Open ( the doors),you know the kits like that little trick very much.

It sounds like there is back feeding in the keysense wire. I would change out to W2W to at least give you the ability to test. That may fix it as well. I have never had any luck with D2D on the DB-ALL

Agree with Kenny about going W2W.   Additionally, I would re-flash and then re-program the DB-ALL to the car.
Soldering is fun!

Just an update.

Turned out to be a blown , in line fuse. Don't know why it blew but just changed it out and see if it goes again. f it does I'll deal with it then.

We seem to get a couple of Hondas with blown fuses after every snow or ice storm.
I've heard that if the customer leaves the wipers switched on, with the wipers stuck in snow or ice, and activates the remote starter, the remote starter's fuse will blow.
Customer can remember to always switch wipers off when parking, or possibly you could use a relay to interrupt the wipers during remote start.
