Installed a Viper 4704 (5501) and the remote start works excellent. Got lazy and didn't want to wire the locks, bought an XK01-AMDL, flashed it to the latest version of TOYDL from the xpresskit site and am having some issues with it.
Followed XK01 directions and just connected the purple wire to "Data" which was WHITE/ red in the driver's kick according to the documentation. The only other wire I connected was the D2D plug.
When I unlock/lock, parking lights flash as they should (hardwired from Viper), but no door lock action. The XK01 has a solid red light on it. I'm wondering if I tapped the wrong wire? I wasn't sure how to meter a "data" wire, but it didn't show voltage. Has anyone used an XK01 with this kinda truck before? Which wire had to be tapped for XK01 "data". Thanks!

Sounds like you have the wrong wire to me.  The data wire for the door locks on the double cab is actually WHITE/ Blue in the driver kick, gray 13 pin plug, pin 3.  It's right above the plug that has about thirty wires going in to it.
