I just finished installing my Viper 5701 alarm remote start. It is made for manual transmission. When I do remote takeover the car keeps running until I arm the system. When I try to remote start it it does 7 flashes of the parking lights which the manual says "Check all solutions". Does anyone know what this could be? VATS has been disabled. The remote gives the alert a few seconds after I arm the system to tell me something is wrong.

Hmm, not the answer I was expecting. Have you installed a by-pass?

I have VATS disabled. No bypass needed.

OK, sorry, can't think of anything else unless possibly the wiring. Is this one based on the Aussie Holden/Vauxhall Monaro?

The ignition switch if it follows Euro Vauxhall/Opels of that time should have 1 x 12V+ source, 1 x ACC, 2 x ignition and 1 x starter, very straightforward.

Like I said it will run off the remote start once I do remote takeover. It runs without the key in the ignition. Once I arm the system for manual transmission mode and arm the system it shuts down and the remote gives an error then will not try to remote start. I had it in auto transmission mode and it will start but it will not do it in manual mode.
