Hi I was In the process of installing an EXCALIBUR AL-1850-EDPB with the BLADE -TB BYPASS. I followed instructions on how to program module, but noting happened. took it back to the store and they gave me a refund. so I had a buddy of mine that has an xpresskit PKALL which he said is compatible with my 2001 escape. I just want to know if my unit supports D2D from PKALL or do I have to Hard wire the PKALL, also can I connect the PKALL pink wire to the alarms Ignition wire, than the alarms ignition wire to the cars ignition wire???

Your best bet is to hardwire between the pkall and the omega. It's only a couple wires. Yes you can connect the pkall ignition to the omegas then on from the omega to the vehicle.

I agree with dasbogie.
I've never been able to get a PKALL to work data to data with any brand of remote starter.

ok going the hardwire way, I would just wire 12 bolts to vehicles 12 volt, can I just tap into the units 12volt after the units fuse, so the fuse protects the unit only and since im running a fused 12 volt from cars battery, bypass would be protected as well from any shorts????? and the ground with the units ground, so that way I can mount the unit and the immobilizer together. Can It the way I just described or what is your recommendation?? Thank you...

P.S. On the PKALL installation instructions for my vehicle, it only tells me to use 1) 6 pin harness as follow. RX/TX to vehicle, (-)while running (status) to alarms status and pink to vehicle ignition which I'll be connecting to the alarms ignition wire.
2)4 pin harness (D2D) to alarms D2D and if not using D2D to wire as follow. Cut the connector that goes to the alarm, and wire pin 1 to 12volts and pin 3 to ground... pin 2 and 4 not used... which I described on my previous post. Is this the correct way??? Thank you.

just finished installing the alarm,on 2001 escape(Excalibur al-1850 everything works good. except for the remote start. i used a EXPRESSKIT PKALL bypass module, Connected and programmed the pkall per the installation guide... the pkall LED light stays solid red, and the manual say that a solid light means the module is programed, but the remote start wont work, and the thefts system activates after I try to remote start it. Could the pkall not be programmed correctly???
P.S. can the connector 1 be the problem, since i went the D2D way, instead of the hardwire?? can not connecting the keysense wire be the culprit?? i did not connect the keysense wire, because on the wiring diagram from bulldogsecurity does not show it, but now going through other diagrams, they do show a keysene wire [BLACK/ pink(+)]... please help.... thank you....
