Hey guys, so I had installed the Viper 4203 (remote start only) with the bypass module PKALL into a 2012 Toyota Tundra Double cab with the G key.

After installation I noticed the only way to unlock the vehicle with the factory key fob is by shutting down the remote start.  Also every once in a while when remoting starting the vehicle when it is locked the factory alarm will sound.

I am not sure if there is anything else I would need to hook up for the bypass module.  I had to manually tap into the brake switch for the brake shut down as well which I had thought in the past the PKALL would sense the brake switch as well.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

When the truck is running, it will ignore any commands from the Factory Remotes.  This is normal.  It is the way the Toyota

engineers designed it.  If you had this professionally installed, they should have mentioned this and recommended a R/S
with keyless entry system.  However, all is not lost.  Again, if this was professionally installed, they should have connected
the 4203 Blue Unlock wire from the 3 pin door lock connector to this wire in the truck :
Power Unlock     Red (-)    @ driver kick, Blue 17 pin plug, pin 6
The 4203 can perform an unlock while the engine is running under a remote start, by pressing the 4203's button.

The PKALL is strictly a bypass module and does not control anything other than the transponder bypass function.  It does

not supply a Brake signal nor control the Factory Alarm.

To turn off the Factory Alarm during a remote start, use the Keysense wire, info below :

Keysense  Lt. Green (-)   @ Body ECU on dash fuse box, white 10 pin plug, pin 5
You can use the H2/5 BLUE/WHITE (-) 200mA 2ND STATUS/REAR DEFOGGER OUTPUT wire with the Default setting of (-) Status,
if it wasn't already used.

Think I would return the truck to the installer to get all of this corrected.

Soldering is fun!
