Can someone recommend a basic remote start unit with 2 aux outputs. For a minivan and want to pop trunk and be able to trigger the doors.
I normally use avital 4103 or 4113
Looking for something cost effective and decent
Thanks

We always used avox pro-9276 or prestige aps-687 for those applications. Trunk button did the rear door, and option 1/2 did the sliding doors. If using a data interface for the doors it was a simple repress of the corresponding button to close the same door. However option button 1 only worked 1 time while the vehicle was running.

Is one preferred over the other? Are they easy to program?

I could not tell ya the difference other than the part # and the remote. Identical otherwise, the avox 9276 comes in a plain white box and the 687 comes in a pretty green box with pictures of a car on it.
Programming is the same on both and can be done with the antenna push button and remotes.
There are 3 banks of options.
Bank 1 is the remotes
Bank 2 is the door lock and aux options
Bank 3 is most of the remote start options
