Anyone have instructions (specifics) for keypad RS505 install on Tacoma?
a. is it negative pulse to lock/unlock?
b. does it require negative or positive pulse?
c. any other connections necessary? (such as keysense or alarm)
d. necessary to connect to buzzer or lights or will ECU do that when pulses lock/unlock are sensed?
e. best location to tap always-on 12v?
I intend to tap the Blue-White and Grey entering from the driver door (driver side kick panel) unless otherwise recommended.
Many thanks

never installed or heard of this system before
a. negative trigger for lock/unlock
b. negative
c. not needed if its keyless entry only
d. parking lights should be connected for some visual indication. horn is optional
e. ignition harness, or driver fuse box
I intend to tap the Blue-White and Grey entering from the driver door (driver side kick panel) unless otherwise recommended.
use purple (-) lock and GREEN/ Black (-) Unlock. both at driver kick
these wires are the factory alarm wires, so its better to use this
