Installing Avital 4105 Remote Start, 2003 Toyota Camry LE

New member here trying to be "dad of the year" and install an AVITAL 4105 remote start in my son's 2003 Toyota Camry LE 4-cyl. Here are the questions that I have:
1. I cannot find the Rx and Tx wires for the Bypass. Does my car even need the bypass? How do I know if my key even has a chip in it?
2. How do I know if my car has a factory alarm? If it does, where are all of those wires located?
3. Before hooking up the remote start, all doors would lock but just the drivers door would unlock. Can I hook up something differently so all doors unlock at the same time?
4. Do you need to hook up any of the "satellite harness" wires that are all (-) 200 mA status, accessory, starter, ignition outputs?
5.Do you need to hook up any of the following (if so, where to):
   (-) 200 mA factory alarm disarm
   (-) 200 mA factory alarm rearm
   (+) ignition our (to alarm)
   (-) activation input
6. There are two BLACK / YELLOW wires running down from the ignition switch. What do I do with the one that I did not use?

An easy way to determine if your key has a transponder chip and you need a bypass module, is to do the foil wrap test.  It is described

in the Pictorial Section.   Basically, you wrap the ignition key head in several layers of aluminum foil, leaving just the blade exposed.  Then
try to start the engine.  Watch the instrument cluster.  If it starts, no chip and no bypass needed.  If it cranks, won't start and has some type
of Security light flashing, you need a bypass module.

You can program the Viper to a double Unlock pulse output ( Menu 1, Feature 5, Option 2 ) to unlock all the doors with one Viper Unlock

command.  Or you can find the Unlock All wire in the PKP.

Your car probably doesn't have a Factory Alarm.  To test, get in the car, press the lock button on the drivers door while the door is open,

then shut the door ( or shut the door and press the Factory FOB Lock button ).  Wait a minute then open the door with the drivers inside
handle.  If the horn beeps, you have the Factory Alarm.

If you have the transponder based engine immobilizer system, you will need the (-) 200 mA Status Output wire, if you don't go D2D to

bypass module.  You will also need the (-) 200mA Ignition or Starter Output to handle all the Camry's ignition wires ( 2 IGN, 2 Starter and
1 ACC ).  The Viper can only directly supply 4 out of the 5.  An extra 30/40 Amp SPDT relay with harness and fuse will be required to
do the install properly.

One BLACK / YELLOW wire is Starter 2 and the other is IGN 2.  You will need to use a Digital Multi Meter to determine the difference.  That is

the best and safest way to tell.  Here is a listing of the ignition wires from ReadyRemote if you want to try to go by the pin numbers /
location :
12volts         WHITE/ red (30A)    +     ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 7
Starter         BLACK/ white  +     ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 8  
Second Starter        BLACK / YELLOW  +            ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 1  
Ignition        BLACK/ red  +     ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 6  
Second Ignition       BLACK / YELLOW  +            ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 4  
Accessory   blue/red  +     ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 3

First of all thank you for all of the information that you provided. I found out that my car does not have an alarm, nor does it have a transponder system. That is the good news. The bad is that I still do not have the remote start working. Here are a few more questions:
1. Does relay pin 30 (satellite harness starter output) go to the same BLACK / YELLOW (+) (20 gauge) wire that the pink/white goes to?
2. If so, that is how I have it hooked up.
3. Here is what it does: I hit the remote start button and the chime goes "ding". The lights on the dash light up. The radio comes on and all sounds good for a brief second. Then the radio goes out and everything sounds like it is powering down.
4. Any idea why, before and after the remote start install, only the driver's door unlocks???
Any more help would be great!!!!!!!

Not sure of your question.  Here is the install :

There are two thick Red wires in the Vipers main ignition harness.  Both or these get soldered to the WHITE/ Red +12 Volt constant wire

in the Camry's main ignition harness.  This wire is shown in the Bulldog Security photo ( link below ).  As noted by Ready Remote, this
is Pin 7.  

Going by the photo, just to the right of the RED / White wire is a BLACK/ White wire.  This is Pin 8 and the Starter1 wire.  The Vipers thick

Purple wire will be soldered to this wire.

Again, going by the photo, just to the left of the WHITE/ Red wire is a BLACK/ Red wire.  This is Pin 6 and the Ignition 1 wire.  As shown

below, the Vipers thick Pink wire will be soldered to this wire.

That does it for the top row.  On the bottom row, the unique wire is the Blue/Red wire.  ReadyRemote lists this wire as the Accessory

wire and Pin 3.  The Viper's thick Orange wire would be soldered to this wire.

That means that the Black Yellow wire just to the left of the Blue/Red wire is Pin 4 and the Ignition 2 wire.  The Viper's thick Pink/White

wire gets soldered to this wire.

All that is left is the BLACK / YELLOW wire that must be at Pin 1 and marked as Starter 2 by all the available wiring guides.  The Viper is

fresh out of thick +12 output wires and can not directly support this necessary wire.  This is where the external 30/40 Amp SPDT
relay is used.  The Viper has a convenient low current (-) output called (-) 200mA Starter Output.  We use this to trigger the relay.
When the relay is triggered ( energized ), the internal contacts connect Pin 87 to Pin 30.  Pin 87 is connected to +12V constant
and Pin 30 gets this voltage and supplies it through it's soldered connection to the Camry's Pin 1 BLACK / YELLOW Starter 2 wire.

There are a few programming changes the Viper needs and you must do the Tach Learn process.

It works!! I did not have the relay hooked to the correct BLACK / YELLOW wire. You have just made me the greatest Dad on earth. I would not have been able to do this without you. You are truly an amazing person, with kindness and patience that we all wish we had. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and allowing me to witness a smile on my son's face that would provoke a tear or two in any man's eyes.
