just a simple question...
does the 2010 Santa Fe need an immobilizer bypass? I am fairly certain none is needed, but currently having a brain fart. doing a simple Code Alarm with keyless on it. Idatalink says it needs one, but this looks to be the standard key which if i remember correctly does not require one.
any input is great. thanks!

Hyundais sold in the US do not use immobilizer systems. Hyundai vehicles made for the Canadian market have immobilizers. I install in Michigan and haven't yet run into a standard key Hyundai with an immobilizer system, so I doubt you'll need one.

is this needed to do to all the santa fe's of this model year? looking at the wiring it doesnt seem that bad, pretty straight forward install. doing a code alarm CA5154 on one soon. its just a keyless and remote start.
thanks guys, for all the help and insight.
