So I currently bought a viper 5706v with a dball2 for my 03 suburban and want to wire in d2d this is my first car alarm/rs install I have found a lot of good info through this site but I'm still a bit confused as there are two sets of of both ignition 1 and ignition 2 and I'm unsure which to use and where and also to clarify I only use the wires described in the dball diagram that are solid nothing else? Any help is appreciated thanks

connect your wires exactly like the DBALL2 diagram-use only the solid black lines for D2D..

As prdjr165 says, follow the DB-ALL2 guide.  All the blue dashed lines / connections are via the D2D harness.

The Viper can handle most of the vehicles main ignition circuits:

Pink to Pink

Pink/White to White

Orange to Orange

Violet to Yellow ( vehicle side )

Green to Yellow ( key side )

Red, RED / White, RED / Black to +12V constant

You will need an external 30/40 Amp SPDT relay with harness and 25 Amp in-line fuse if you find you need to power the Brown ACC2 circuit during remote start.

Soldering is fun!

In my endeavor to make my installs as clean as possible, I've been tapping one of the red Viper wires after one of its fuses for the external ACCY relay. There is very little load on the Brown Accy2 wire in a GM. It's only the radio and wipers,; the additional load on the Viper 30A fuse is negligible.

Okay one more question I have two 12v Constant wires on the ignition loom under the dash that are red and RED / white so do I join the RED / black with one of the red and RED / white coming from viper going to these under dash?
