I've done multiple RS installs on my vehicles, most recently is my 2010 Honda Pilot using Idatalink ACLA.
I'm currently attempting to install a Python 4206p using a Idatalink CALA on my wife's 2014 Versa Note std key.
After having everything installed using Type 2 wiring, I attempted to program the Idatlink module without any luck. The procedure says the LED should turn to a sold green for 2 seconds after the vehicle key is turned to ON, but it never turns green no matter what I tried.
I did several factory reset and that didn't help either. The module is supposedly flashed with DBI-AL(DL)-NI4-EN from the seller.
Here is the breakdown of the module wiring to the vehicle
WHITE/ BLACK - IMMOBILIZER DATA VEHICLE SIDE ----->BCM above driv kick, white 40 pin
plug, pins #25 LIGHT GREEN (car side of the wire)
WHITE/ RED - IMMOBILIZER DATA CONNECTOR SIDE------BCM above driv kick, white 40 pin
plug, pins #25 LIGHT GREEN (connector side of the wire)
BROWN / RED - CANH-------data link/OBDII connector, Pin #6 BLUE
BROWN / YELLOW - CANL-------data link/OBDII connector, Pin #14 PINK
ORANGE / BLACK - IMMOBILIZER DATA--------BCM above driv kick, white 40 pin
plug, pins #25 LIGHT GREEN (car side of the wire)
ORANGE - IMMOBILIZER CLOCK--------BCM above driv kick, white 40 pin
plug, pins #21 GREEN
PINK - IGNITION (+) INPUT------ignition switch, white 6 pin plug, pin 1, GRAY
BLUE/RED - GROUND (-) INPUT-------ground
The rest of the connection is wired up to the RS accordingly.
Another note, I use the a Viper 4806v wiring for the Python 4206p since I can not source a wiring diagram for the python and they're suppose to the same unit, correct me if I'm wrong with this assumption.

I'm not real familiar with the Idatalink products, but:
Which install guide are you using?
I didn't see on any of them where the Immobilizer Clock or Data go to the 40 pin connector. They all point to the Immobilizer connector at the ignition switch.

unless I totally missed it there isn't a immobilizer connector at the ignition switch. I used Direct Wire wiring guide which says"
Databus---------pink(clock);light green(data)-----NATS ant amp or BCM above driver kick, white 40 pin plug, pin 21, pin 25.

Hmm this is quite possible as the key ring was rather bare without any plastic collar like I've seen on other install. I thought this was a standard feature on all new vehicle. If this car in fact doesn't have an immobilizer I'm gonna kick myself really hard. Unfortunately I can't work on the car till the weekend so I will keep it posted.

The reason why i say that is cuz i did a bunch of them and they never seem to have an immobilizer. Why dont you try this finish wiring the remote start and program tach if possible and remote start the car with out the Idatalink module and see what happens !

Turned out the car didn't have immobilizer after all. I wired up the idatalink accordingly and was able to program it. Now I'm having problem with the rs not starting. I'm not able to get the shutdown/startup diagnostics using the steps in the Viper4806v manual, the led the control keep flashing steadily. Anybody have the actual install guide for the Python 4206p?

Curious. If it doesn't have an immobilizer, why connect it?
Could you list your connections from the remote start to what on the car.

I already have it on there and it saves me few connections, mainly tachometer as I have no idea where to find it on the car.
