Hi All,
I'm preparing to install a 4806 with a DBall Express into a Tacoma. I've put together a wiring sheet in order to ensure that don't F this up. Before I proceed, I'd like to lean on the community here to review my wiring list to make sure that I've paired the wires correctly. If you could, it would be very much appreciated if all of you could put a second pair of eyes on my list to make sure that I haven't made any mistakes. Thanks to all who respond.

I'm in the same boat, more or less. I'm going to be installing the very same remote starter in the same truck but with a DBALL2. I'm curious how many of the functions/connections are handled by D2D. The quick reference gudie for the Viper 4806V doesn't seen to mention anything about that but the DBALL2 install refers to what doesn't need to be connected in D2D mode. I haven't installed a remote starter since I put a cheap CanadianTire thing in my 04 Colorado. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

What year Tacoma? On most of the Tacomas The dball only takes care of the immobilizer feature and auto light shut off if the truck has auto lights. If the truck does not have an immobilizer then you don't need to use a dball.

My truck is a 2013 Limited with G-keys. I purchased a DBALL2 and they flashed it with TL7 firmware and did say to use Type 4.
I guess all I need at this point Is an additional relay for the second starter curcuit and I'm in business.
There is a cable that nicely hooks the DBALL2 and Viper 4806V together (D2D?) what does that even do? Are you saying that is only for the immobilzer if equipped? Basically saving me from having to make a few more hard connections...right?

Yes that is correct using the d2d cable keeps you from having to make all the dotted line connections.

Thank you! These things are straightforward enough. Being a newer system that I've been used to I needed a sanity check. I have installed some kind of Crime Stoppers thing in my old 1998 Lumina, an Autopage unit in a 2000 Montana van and as mentioned some crappy Canadian Tire thing in my 04 Colorado so I have a good idea of basic functionality and perhaps some more advanced...just don't have the confidence to install anything other than remote start and keyless entry.
