Hi all,

This is my first remote start install and I have a few questions. I have searched the forums and have not gotten a clear answer yet. I am installing a Viper 4706v in my 93 chevy K2500 6.5 Turbo diesel. So far, I have the remote start working as well as the turbo timer. I am now working on the locks. Am I correct in assuming that I need relays for both the lock and unlock function? At this time the locks are the only other thing that I am planning on hooking up. Any other comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Some trim levels are positive polarity door locks on that year but most of them are 5wire. If its 5 wire get a 451m or use two relays and follow the diagram on this website.
