Hey hopefully I posted in the right area but looking for some help with wiring a 451m relay with a 5706v viper alarm/remote start. Been looking all over for days now and can't get anything clear. I got a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with factory keyless entry. Any help much appreciated.

Mods, please move this to the security/convenience forum.
Try this for your truck's wiring: http://readyremote.com/main.asp?action=select&yr=3038&product=Remote%20Start&make=Dodge&model=RAM#
I've been out of the industry for over a decade so I'm not familiar with the 451m, but maybe someone else will reply.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

That truck is a little different from most.  I'll assume that it has factory keyless entry.  The 4541M door lock module is exactly

what you need.  Here is the wiring with the 451M module.

The 451M 3 Pin harness gets connected directly to the Viper's 3 Pin door lock port.

Here is the rest :

Connect the Violet and Violet/Black wire via its' 15 Amp fuse to +12V constant power source.
Connect the GREEN/ Black wire the trucks ORANGE / Violet wire in the drivers door harness @ the DKP.
The WHITE/ Black wire is not used.
That takes care of the lock wire, which is just a +12V pulse.

For the Unlock wire you will find the correct Pink/Violet wire in that same drivers door harness in the DKP and cut it.  It is a

5 wire reverse setup.  Here is that wiring :
Connect the BROWN / Black wire to the switch side of the cut Pink/Violet wire.
Connect the Blue/Black wire to the motor side of the cut Pink/Violet wire.

If the truck does not have factory keyless entry, then the Lock wire is also 5 wire reverse.

Soldering is fun!
