Hi, I have started wiring Audiovox APS997E and struck figuring out few things. I really appreciate your help in advance
I have my car with dome light stays one few seconds or turns off as soon i lock the doors with factory key less entry. How to connect this? Install doc says "This wire provides a 30 second ground output, (300 mA Max.)" Do i have to use Relay?
Parking Lights: I have my security system provided with Parking Light Relay Input wire and Output Wire. How to make these connections with rav4 GREEN (+) as per the wiring diagram?
Ground Output While Running (-) 300mA: The mode i am trying to use is " Anti-Grind Starter Circuit Connection". The Installation manual referring to use relay. Does it really required? or rav4 starter wire will come from default relay?

a) Not needed your vehicle has built in dome supervision, you just described it!
b) Input must go to a 12V+ constant source.
c) Shouldn't be needed.

Hi howie,
Thanks for the quick replay,
My uderstanding about Anti-Grind is to stop cranking the engine through key when car is started with remote. Will it not damage the starter with out connecting this wire?

Some vehicles have built in anti-grind, I'm not familiar with the R/Start so I suggest you contact Voxx.

I did through test by turning key from start to crank while engine is running... it did make a wired sound. I hope it does not have automatic grind option. any how i will check with Voxx company as you suggested. Thank you very much for your help.

Finally i have done with my installation and every thing works fine. Howie II thanks for your inputs. I did call customer car regarding my third question( Anti-Grind Starter Circuit Connection) and made the connection with relay provided in the kit. But i did not see its stop sending the signal to starter when the engine is started with remote. I may have to call back cust care.
