I installed aftermarket door lock actuators in a '69 Charger. They are the simple two wire reverse polarity type. I guess this diagram would be how I wire these to the Avital 5303 by using two relays:
https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#arp
Should the power wire from for the relays come straight from the battery or can I tap into the fuse box? 30 amp relays with 30 amp fuses okay?
Also, I would like to have the progressive unlock feature. Where exactly do I connect that 2nd unlock output wire? For the Avital 5303 it's a light blue wire H2/1.
Lastly, I don't know if I want to do this yet but is it possible to have the doors lock when I put the running car in drive and unlock when I put it in park or neutral?
Thanks!

Power wire from fuse box is fine. Downsize the fuse, 15A is fine. For progressive unlock, an additional relay is required. Wire as unlock relay per the link you provided. Lock relay output term 30 to both actuators, unlock relay term 30 to drivers actuator, second unlock relay term 30 to passenger actuator. H2/1 triggers this relay. Gear shifter /transmission controlled locks might be possible, what shifter and trans?

I think I understand what you're saying. I'll have to draw it out so I'll post it once I've done that to make sure I got it right. We've had a storm come through last night so I have to do some cleaning up out there first though.
It's a 727 torqueflite automatic. 3 speed. The shifter is stock, just like this one:
http://www./itm/Automatic-Shifter-Console-Fits-66-67-68-69-B-Body-Model-Reproduction-New-MOPAR-/182006392172?hash=item2a606d256c:g:5akAAOSwCQNWgzen&vxp=mtr
There is no wiring on the shifter. The neutral safety switch is crewed into the transmission housing and has three wires.

Neutral safety is irrelevant on an auto, ground it.

Would the neutral safety switch not prevent remote starting the car while it's not in park or neutral? Granted I never leave it in anything else but it's a nice feature.
I added the third relay on the diagram, does this look correct?

Yes but you don't need to connect the R/S since an auto can only be started in N or P.
Your diagram is correct though I would add diodes (1N4004) as protection across the relay coils, band of diode to 86 in right hand pair, 85 on left hand relay.

I didn't even think about that...of course the car won't start in anything but P or N. I completely missed that one!
Thanks for the diode tip, I'm sure I'll be needing a few more of those for the rest of the install right? One going to the relay for the trunk release and probably some more here and there?
I cannot figure out how to lock the doors in drive and unlock in park or neutral though. I may have to let that idea go.

That last sentence, why do you need it.
Earlier Clifford, pre DEI had RPM controlled locking, I believe Compustar still does that.

That's the thing, I don't really need it. My daily as well as my wife's have this feature and it gives her a sense of safety as a would be carjacker wouldn't be able to open the door from the outside. She drives the Charger sometimes so I thought it would be nice to have. We'll just have to make a habit out of pushing the door knob down.

DEI give's you lock/unlock on ignition, no pushing of knobs! You can program it manually.
Look at the install sheet that comes with the unit.
