@howie ll
this is in reference to the old post i had published on October 15, 2015 in regards of my tilt sensor triggering every now on my corolla 2001 and you quoted the following
"if your tilt sensor keeps triggering, make your installer cut the loops. It should also be mounted on a flat surface facing along the Corolla's front rear axis."
can you or anybody please elaborate as my installer did not understand what exactly it means by the LOOPS AND REAR AXIS? should be noted that both the owner and installers English is second language. Please help needed from anyone here.
alarm specs as follow in my corolla 2001
car alarm= viper 5706v
no hood pin,
506T=Glass break sensor (triggers as SENSOR 2 On the remote)
507M=tilt sensor (triggers as HOOD OPEN on the remote)
535T=Auto 4 windows up whenever armed.
trunk pop
no dome light supervision

The loop in reference is a black wire attached to the sensor. It just loops from the sensor back into the sensor.
Front Rear Axis, just means the sensor needs to be aligned longways front to back.(Parallel with the car)

dman007,
Thanks for the reply since its been almost 7months from my question, my car had wiring issues and had to take it to a shop and the people there removed the entire alarm system just to find out the cars engine harness was faulty and was causing the car shut down while driving, and they installed me COMPUSTAR PRIME 901 which comes with integrated TILT senso, if you ask me was viper 5706v better i would say yes viper was better than what i have right now

Sorry tdi200, just seen this. I'm glad dman007 posted because my reply would have been if your installer doesn't understand he isn't an installer, all I said is actually in the fitting instructions.
