I have a 4 door 2006 f250 with out factory keyless entry. I'm trying to install a directed pke system but I'm stumped.
The truck has 5 wire reverse polarity negitve trigger door locks.
I'm pretty sure I found the right diagram for the 2 relays but I need to know what wire is the master switch to cut.
Can anyone help me out?

If I cut these wires how do I know which end goes to the switch and what ends goes to the motor?

In the download section is a pdf file for door lock systems, df 1041
it has a good explanation of type c locks and wire testing.

Ok I cut the wires in the drivers kick panel and temporarily wired them into the relays. Every thing seems to work except that the remote is supposed to unlock the doors but it locks them instead. There's is only one button on the fob and it's a unlock button.

The weird thing is that when i walk up to the truck it unlocks and when I walk away it locks just like it should. It's just the fob that is reversed.

if you press the button on the PKE it will send a lock pulse, if you press and hold the button for abot 3-5 seconds it will send an unlock command.
