Hello,
I recently installed a viper 5701 using dball on a 2010 Honda Odssey. Everything was working fine. Then recently some issue happened:
After press the remote start button, car goes through thte remote starting process - display on, fuel gauge display the remaining fuel amount, etc., but there just is no cranking, and car thinks it's already started.
And the other thing I tried is that I can go into the valet override mode (press remote start button while car is running, and then remove key, car still running) no issue.
Anyone has any idea what might go wrong?
Thanks!

First, I would check the starter connection from the Viper unit to the car. Sounds like this is not activating.
Using the DBALL, are you using the tach signal from the DBALL? It sounds like you are not getting proper tach signal to the Remote Start. If you are connected W2W, check the tach connection. Either way, reprogram the tach signal from the Viper.

Thanks for your reply!
I use D2D, so not using the tach cable.

The issue seems to be that some of the connections may get loose... I tried to make sure all wires connected securely, and the jumper for D2D on the Viper are ok, then wallah, the remote start worked again! Don't know which wire caused the issue though, but will solder the wires when get time.
Thanks for all the help!
