2005 Crown Vic Police interceptor

Could one of you guys give me some advice on a viper 5305V install? My brother and I are installing the RS/Alarm in his Police interceptor. Base model car, No PATS, no keyless entry, no nothing... Basically power windows and locks are it's only options. Pretty straight forward install. We've got all the basics done, RS works, parking lights work, everything works as it should however we cant seem to be able to figure out the power locks. The wire colors I found on here for his car either aren't correct or we've found the wrong wires. It says they are in the DS kick panel but we couldn't find them there so we looked in the rubber boot coming from the door and we found the right colors but they seem to be activated by + instead of the - the viper sends. Could someone confirm how these lock work... And if we need to relay them for +.. Thanks in advance.2011 F-250 Super Duty

Here is the info from Bulldog Security : POWER LOCK     PINK / YELLOW (+) TYPE A        IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL @ DOOR HARNESS POWER UNLOCK   PINK/LIGHT GREEN (+) TYPE A   IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL @ DOOR HARNESS As shown, they are Type A and need a (+) 12 V signal to operate. Test these wires first with a DMM. If you are getting a +12V pulse when you press the Lock or Unlock button you should have the correct wires. You can test this by making a jumper wire with alligator clips on either end and an in-line fuse holder in the middle. Try activating the the Lock or Unlock wire with a +12V signal with a 5 Amp fuse inserted. It should activate the locks. Yes, you will need relays to convert the R/S's (-) lock output to the (+) signal the car needs. The easy way is to use a Directed 451M Door Lock module. They go for about $9. The 451M install guide can be found in the Downloads section.Soldering is fun!

Thanks, type "A" is a keyless entry equipped car.. this one doesn't have keyless so based on what I'm figuring it's a type "C" Five wires from the front door switches excluding the switch illumination wires. I'm not sure which relay wiring method to use, I wired them up using the 5 wire method but it pops the DL fuse when I arm or disarm the viper.2011 F-250 Super Duty

I haven't done a P71 for a while. You might be correct and it does have Type C locks. While Bulldog does not mention that at all another wiring guide site does. Just wanted to thank y'all for the wiring. I had the relays wired right but the nimrod at Autozone gave me the wrong relays... The relays he gave me had two 87's instead of the 87a so both terminals on the relays were hot and causing me grief. I went and bought two more relays WITH the 87a and the locks work as they should... Thanks2011 F-250 Super Duty
