91 chevy k1500 2 door
Viper 4105v
Dei 451m
Remote start works
I put the neutral safety(blk/wht) wire to ground.
I omitted the brake(brown) wire.
I'm assuming that one of those is causing the truck to not shut off by key. It will shut off by remote though.
#2
Parking lights don't do anything while remote start is activated.
Manually pushing the parking light switch, they work fine.
I took the light flash output(white) wire directly to headlight switch and attached to factory brown wire.
When the parking light switch is manually activated, the white wire at the Viper shows voltage.
#3
I have a Dei 451m relay for the locks. I have the WHITE/ black wire connected to switch side light blue. I have the GREEN/ black wire connected to the light blue motor side.
I have the BROWN / black wire connected to the BLACK/ white wire on switch side. I have the blue/black wire connected to the BLACK/ white wire on motor side.
Violet wire is connected to unfused terminal in junction block.
My problem here is that the door locks barely move when using the remote, regardless of lock/unlock. They move a bit better but not correctly using the switch.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The Brown Brake wire is a must. It is used for several things. Among them is turning off a remote started engine. This typically happens when you do a "key take over". You will notice that the Parking Lights that indicate a remote started engine will go out. At that point the engine will continue running under regular key control. The reason the engine won't stop when you take the key out is that 12 minutes aren't up yet and the 4105 still has the ignition wires powered. Connect the Brake Input wire and that issue is resolved.
For the Parking Lights, ensure that the Viper Parking Light jumper is in the (+) position.

Thanks for the response. I assumed that was the problem.
These door locks are whipping my butt. I can't figure it out. Anyone able to guide me on that.

Hard to find info on one that old. From what I can gather, it looks like it has Type C door locks. The best I can suggest
is looking at the DEI Tech Tip 1041 Door Lock guide. It has some decent instructions for determining the lock Type and tests
to figure out the where the master switch is at for proper wire connection. Here is a link to the DEI 1041 guide :
