2008 Trailblazer HVAC not working Viper 4706v

I installed a Viper 4706 V on my parents trailblazer a few weeks back. I noticed the HVAC was not working at all with the orange acc wire from the viper going to the orange acc wire in the blazer side. So I then spliced it into the brown on the blazer side as well. Still nothing. What am i missing here?? Wipers do not work either, which makes me think the orange acc wire from the viper isnt supplying power to it? Do I need to turn Acc1 on with the LCD remote?? Kind of at a loss here.

You could test the output of the Orange wire from the 4706 to see if there is any voltage on it. Do you have the Red, RED / Black, and RED / White fused wires from the heavy gauge wire harness connected to a 12 volt source?When all else fails, Read the Instructions

2 ignitions and 2 accessorys on that vehicle, you powering both?

I didnt see a strait forward ACC2 wire in the big wiring harness on the viper, so i used orange and ran it to both. And yes i do believe I have both ignitions connected. I know I left one of the reds and/or one of the pinks disconnected, I used the Directech install guide, if that helps anything.

Never splice circuits together. They are separate for a reason. Can you list all your connections for us. So we can get a better picture of what's going on.If i Can't Install it    I Don't need it   Joe

On the 4706, the thin Red and the thick Red, RED / White and RED / Black all must go to +12V constant power. You can use the Vipers thin Orange (-) 200mA Accessory output to control an external relay for the ACC2 circuit. Relay wiring Relay Pin 85 to Viper thin Orange (-) 200mA Accessory Relay Pin 86 and 87 to +12V constant through 20 Amp fuse Relay Pin 30 to Brown ACC2 wire Relay Pin 87a not used - insulatedSoldering is fun!

Ive got it in the shop right now, and the RED / black and pink/black are not hooked up. So I will get that R/B to 12v constant and see how that helps

That did the trick! Now I'm going to unsplice the 2 ACC wires and just power one. If I want HVAC this should be the brown wire correct?

For future reference that is wrong. Brown is wipers and such. Orange is HVAC and defrost.
