Car: 2012 VW GTI Auto/DSG Regular Key
Remote Starter: DBall2 with latest firmware in RSR mode
Issue: Car normally requires brake to be depressed to start. Per wiring diagram below, I've connected a relay from the starter signal cable that is supposed to override the brake.
When I try to remote start the car turns on, the two rear brake lights (but not the 3rd center light) turn on, but the car does not start. If I manually depress the brake pedal during the remote start sequence, the car will start fine.
I've tried bypassing the relay and manually connecting the 12v to the brake pin during the remote start sequence and nothing changed.
Any ideas/suggestions would be a huge help. Thanks!
Car is wired exactly as shown except the hazard light wire has not been connected, if there any chance that is causing this issue I can connect it.
