Hello,
I have copied a previous members post because it fits my exact thoughts...
"I keep looking without any luck for a wiring manual for a Viper 150HF alarm / remote start. The closest I can find is 150-ESP on DEI website (and this site also) which quite different . On the back of the alarm module it states: model 552. But, the 552T manual seems to have different wire organization (connectors in different places) and jumpers from side which are not on my unit.
I'm lost.
Is there another DEI product / model that has identical wiring and programing that I can use instead?
Even though this alarm is quite dated (MFD: 12/1997) and doesn't seem to have the best reputation among professionals,
ANY help is greatly appreciated. "
thanks,
Chris

Wire color and Function will remain unchanged even if the location or plug layout has changed.

Ok, Great! Thank you very much! this will greatly help me speed up this experiment. I purchased a 92 silverado with this currently installed without a remote. since it is already in there, I purchased a remote to see if I could get it working. The wiring is somewhat less than professional quality and certain wires are cut and taped such as valet switch and display led. The truck has an annoying quirk to it. When the engine is started with the key, the doors lock. I still have to trace out the wires and determine if the remote start is calling to lock the doors or I have a problem with the neutral safety switch. Either way it sucks when i work on the engine.   start the truck and close the doors to realize that the truck locked the doors on me. When i drive the truck i make sure i have a set of keys in my pocket as well as the ignition. I really do appreciate the confirmation of the wires. Thanks again lurch228!

That is a function of the 150HF You can turn off the "Ignition Controlled door locks" function off to stop this issue.

Sweet! Do to the size of my truck i cannot bring it into the garage. I am limited to working outside. I have not yet looked into the situation yet. You just made my day! If that is the case, it should be easy to fix. Thanks again!
