Ok so I have installed a Fortin EvoAll remote start and it works great. Now I want to enable the alarm feature since me truck does not have an oem security system. I want to wire in a starter kill/ anti grind relay but am a little unsure where to tie it in. During my remote start install, I removed the ignition plug from the tip key barrel and integrated it in to the fortin T harness. Im assuming that I splice the relay in the ignition plug before the t harness? The Ram 1500 oem ignition plug has 4 wires. Red (12V) White (Data) Violet (Starter Mux) and Black (ground). So would it be correct to use the 12V as my ignition constant and to cut the Violet starter mux wire? I want to verify that the starter mux wire is the right one to cut and split between 30 and 87a on the relay.
Thanks!
Chris
