I have installed an Automate 3808a in my son's CRV so that he could use the factory keyfobs to arm and disarm the system. Everything works properly, except when he drives the car. After putting the car in gear, the automatic door locks lock the door and the system arms. I used the lock pulses to arm the system and the unlock pulses to disarm the system. I have wired the system exactly as outlined in the instructions. Is this a programming issue? Thanks in advance!
Thanks

Not a programming issue. If you wired it correctly, it's a bad module (very rare). I would check the yellow +ignition input. Whenever there's 12v on this wire, the alarm will not arm.

Thanks beegbie! I thought the module might be bad, but I will re-check the wiring this weekend. If it turns out that there isn't 12VDC present on the yellow wire while the car is running, then as a temporary solution I could use a relay to break the arming wire when the car is running.
Thank Again!
Thanks
