Hi recently fitted a 5906. Two questions,
First is there any way to hook into the led on the control aerial?
It's in a silly place and you can't see it. I can fit a standard Clifford LED but how? My thought was to work out the Pinout to the control aerial and wire there if possible or failing that a 555 timer circuit to flash the LED once a second. The 555 timer would be wired to constant one side and GWA in the other.
The second question, the valet button, can you really just turn the ignition on and off and press the button to disable the alarm. I think you can program the button to do like 5 presses but even so if there a way to stop this - that is if it does in fact do this. Tempted to open the control aerial and remove the button, or again is this in the pinout to the control aerial? Maybe cut the wires and hide a switch..
Thanks

Second attempt to help you, here. The "addblocker" pop-up destroyed 15 minutes of work on the last reply.
Trim back the insulation on the antenna cable.
Cut the pink and grey wires with enough length to work with. Skin the red wire so you can attach to it, but leave it intact to the antenna.
LED Blue to Module Pink
LED Red to Module Red
Button (1) to Module Red
Button (2) to Module Gry
I don't know if your control center is the same as mine, but if the wire colors are the same (pink and gry are on the ends of mine) this will probably work. Here's a link to the research I did on mine about a year ago. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=143485

Hi, this awesome! Thanks so much for for this.
I'm going to interrupt the valet button and put another hidden button else that has to be on to allow the control centre button to work.
Makes you wonder why they didn't just use the plain view button like they have for their Clifford g4/5 range! So much better and more secure.
This is the aerial I have - responder sst

My antenna control center is different than yours. Be sure to open that link in my first post and read the entire thread. Especially the results of my testing post. It illustrates how I went about testing mine, and figuring out the circuits for the LED and button. Your's could be different, but probably not. If the pink wire is on one end, and the grey wire on the other end of the connector, the two are probably the same. Go for it.

Hi, all wired up and it was the pink and red for the led and the grey for the valet button cut through a hidden switch. So it's the same as what you had.
Looks so much better now the Clifford blue led sits between the two seats and looks awesome. No missing the alarm is on now!
Still beggers belief why they redesigned and created the control centre then cheaped out on a non coded valet and skipped a optional led port. It's like they forget they bought Clifford..
Thanks for your help!! :) :)
