Installing an Avital 4105 remote start with idatalink bypass, TL9-EN flash. Was looking in the archives at the 2013 pictorial posted by Kreg. Do i need to use the accessory wire from the remote start? The install guide does not show the accessory wire hooked up. Also on the previous post the older firmware diagram did not have a relay for the auto lights, the one i have now shows one. Looking at the pics of the ignition harness it looks like i will have to step down the size of the heavy gauge wires from the remote start to be able to solder into the ignition switch wires.

You are correct on all three. Acc not needed, relay to kill Autolamps and change to something like 16/18 gauge for smaller ign wires

One more question. Would you grab 12v at the ignition plug also? Or grab it at the fuse box single white wire? i was thinking there since there are two 12v wires plus the relay and idatalink module all requiring 12v

since you are doing negative Park lights, you could use the 12v at the ign plug.. however I always error on the side of caution, and get it from the fuse box.
