So a few years ago I installed a Voxx Prestige 2way remote starter with Fortin EVO-ALL bypass in my 2007 RX350. It all worked fine until yesterday, the starer goes through 3 cranking attempts but the engine will not fire. It crank attempts seem normal, it also starts just fine with the key.
I'm assuming something went south with the EVO-ALL bypass since it cranks but doesn't fire.
Any suggestions before I start digging into this? Not looking forward to digging this all out from under the dash, install was a pain and it's been so long I forgot most of what's there.
Thanks :)

I would put the key in the ignition cylinder, don't turn it--leave the ignition off. Try remote starting. If it starts, you know it is related to the transponder (EVO ALL).

Another issue could be the tach connection. You could turn on the Voxx Diagnostics and see what was stored from the last shutdown. If there is no tach, try programming the Voxx for Hybrid mode, and preset crank time, and see if the vehicle starts.

Yeap it starts if I have the key in the cylinder. I guess time to digg in and read the indicator light on the evo.

Check for 12v power on the EVO fuse.

Weird, I simply disconnected and reconnected all the connectors from the EVO and it's working again.
I'll take it :)

this is common for bypasses I have found, one time I took it out and reflashed it and worked great. Then it happened again but when I went to reflash, they had disabled the ability to flash from directech.com's website so I just sadly reconnected it back on and it worked, after that it happened once more and did the same thing, has been working great. This was for a DBALL 2.
