This question will probably be nearly impossible to get an answer to, but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone can point me in a direction at least.
I have a 2008 Saturn Sky with a Viper 5906 (I think) remote start alarm. It's the one with the color OLED FOB, I got it about 5 years ago so it might be the previous model, but the FOB looks identical. Anyways, my key recently broke off and I don't have a spare. But, I remember the shop that installed my alarm needed a 2nd key for a bypass (or somethings lol) My alarm hasn't worked for a year now, and since I don't have a key I'm trying to find this one so I don't have to pay $$$ to have a new one made and programmed. I called the stereo shop and the guy said it's somewhere under the dash. He wasn't helpful beyond that, but I understand the location will vary from car to car. And this is probably the only Sky they've worked on so I don't expect them to know off hand. He did say it would be in a box. So I removed the bottom of my drivers side dash and looked and looked and I'm not seeing anything. With the tools I have on hand I couldn't totally remove the passenger side bottom, but I got it off enough to shine a flashlight in. I'm not seeing anything there either.
now I know I'm looking for a box, but beyond that I'm clueless. Should I be looking for wires coming from it or something? I know this is a very tough question considering nobody here installed it and has no idea how the shop I took it to does it work. But I'm hoping someone can give me a pointer. Maybe me assuming it's on the underside of the dash is a mistake.
If anyone has a suggestion I'm definitely all ears.

Check for a wrap of wires around the front of the ignition switch (where the key goes). If you find it, trace those wires back to the interface.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
