Hello, I have a Viper 4706v and ADS-ALCA FW DBI AL(DL) GM4. on a 2007 H3 Hummer. I used the D2D connection between the Viper and ADS. I've been using this for a few years but the lock/unlock feature was always unreliable often having to press lock or unlock three times to get the doors to react. As such the alarm was going off (horn beeping three times with remote start). I finally got around to connecting the bypass module W2W to see if it would improve the reliability of the lock/unlock and properly diasrm the OEM alarm (unlock the doors) prior to remote start. With W2W the doors always lock and unlock with a single remote key press, so that's an improvement. Unfortunately, the door never unlock prior to remote start. Am I missing something? Is this a programming issue?
Thanks

Not sure which firmware version of GM4 you are using but there should be a programming option in the GM4 Advanced area for "Unlock before and Lock after remote start". You will need the ADS USB cable and iDatalink WEB access to make this change.
Soldering is fun!
