I’ve asked viper and the only thing they tell me is I have to buy the 7652V remote to replace the one I have. Can anyone tell me if they’ve upgraded to to a different remote? I don’t want to have to spend almost half of what the system originally cost me just to buy a new remote......

When I search for the 7652v most sellers state that it’s discontinued and to get the newer 7654v. I see it for $40 on Amazon so that seems pretty reasonable. Not sure what prices you have been seeing.

Alternatively the 7652v also still seems available from Amazon for about $43.
