recommendations for bypass module/ interface/combo for this install. It has been a few years since my last install and there is too much information out there now. I do not want to mess with flashing. GMDLBP vs PKALL vs DB3? or others. This vehicle has a hard tonneau cover with a Dakota Digital actuated lift. Need 3 (-) output aux channels to raise /lower. Liked the Viper the best.

While you would have to hardwire the interconnections between the bypass module and the Viper, my vote goes for the Fortin INT-SL+. The INT-SL+ comes pre-flashed and is a solid performer. Here is a link to the Install Guide :

Yes it will if the truck is equipped with those features. There is one gothcha.
Here is the note from the install guide :
Note : Heated seats will turn ON (low power) ONLY if the engine temp is below 0°C (32°F) when remote started.
Soldering is fun!

viper 4806v and int-sl+
int has a unlock driver 2 but viper does not.? will hitting unlock twice unlock both doors?
2003 ss has a 2nd accessory (brown) will this need to be energized by relay? (with the orange accessory +output)

Unlock Driver 1 and Unlock Driver 2 has to do with the trucks personalization settings. See Page 2-66 in the Owners Manual.
Basically, you will see a Driver 1 or Driver 2 message appear on the instrument cluster depending on which Factory FOB/remote you use to unlock the truck with.
The INT-SL+ will allow similar functions depending on the connections between the R/S and the bypass.
I personally power the Brown ACC2 wire during a R/S. It might not always be required but I try to duplicate a standard key start up with my R/S wiring.
You would need a 30/40 Amp SPDT relay controlled by the Vipers thin Orange (-) 200 mA ACC wire.
Soldering is fun!

awesome install thanks to your assistance. 3 Auxiliary functions run the tonneau cover amazingly well. Great range and everything works! saved $300 from what the local installer wanted.
