Hi I have knowledge with 12v dc automotive. I’m just curious I have a prostart remote start on my Jeep Wrangler manual transmission. It works perfect however. Having to reset the sequence after a door opens wizes me off. So my question is, if I cut the yellow wire that tells the RS it’s an automatic now. What changes in order for it too work so doors aren’t required just like a automatic? Does it check for something else and if so what has to be bypassed. I know safety is a concern and I already have an alternative option for making it safe I just need to know what is used

Bypassing the safety features on a manual transmission remote start for whatever reason is a huge mistake and no help should be provided to help you do so. Do the right thing and leave it as it is.

And yet as stated I have a resolution. Too the position of the shifter and a lock. Your reply is useless and unhelpful and if you do not agree then move on. I do not appreciate it.
Also I rather have an idea instead of doing it myself and actually doing the wrong things. If anything you should do it so I am on the right path

My post is most helpful in preventing you from causing injury or property damage. There is a reason that pre-remote start procedure exist for a manual transmission. If you attempt to bypass it, regardless of your personal solution, you risk harming someone else or someone else's property, let alone your own. There is no debate here. Do the right thing and keep it as is.

BTW, I suggest you read the forum rules again. What you are wanting to do can be very dangerous and potentially life threatening.
