I have just finished installing a fuel sender in my gas tank, it has a 10-180 ohm range (10 ohm = empty, 180 ohm = full).
I have found an aftermarket module that can let me know when the tank is low in fuel but that is not its main function. It's main function is to match up the ohm readings of disparate fuel senders and fuel gauges.
All I want to do is get an auxiliary light to light on the dash when the fuel gets low in the tank, about 10% of the tank.
Ideally I would also want that light to flash a few time (3-6 times).
Can anyone tell me what I need to accomplish these two tasks?
Thank you in advance.

I'm thinking something that would "sense" when the sender is sending a signal of 20 ohm to the fuel gauge, i.e.: If zero ohm is empty and 180 ohm is full that would make 20 ohm around 10% of the tank's content = "LOW FUEL". Then a signal would be sent to a relay that would light the light on the dashboard through a module I already have that will flash the light 6 times, then shut off).
Does this help?
