2006 Ford E-250, Door Trigger Problems

I'm installing a viper 5305v alarm/starter in my e250. The problem I am having is that the negative door triggers are 12v when the door is closed, but after about 30 seconds the signal drops to 0.6v thus triggering the alarm through the (-) door trigger input. Is there anything I can do aside from having to use the done light?

Fyi.   I tapped into the 3 door pin wires in the driver's kick panel and isolated them with diodes.

There's a DEI bulletin regarding the Ford N.O. door triggers that shows the use of 10K pull-up resistors to keep the door triggers high until the door opens. Put a 10K resistor in parallel with each diode in the alarm group, one side of the resistor to +12V at all times.

Do you mean a single 10K resistor between 12V and the alarm's door trigger input wire?

I found, in the link below, what I was thinking of, but the description says "rests at ground when closed, and goes high when open. May not be exactly what is needed for the Ford doors which rest 'open' when door closed, but ground when door open. Perhaps a single 10k resistor to hold the alarm trigger input high such as eguru suggests, would work. May have to experiment. I found the tech tip in the downloads section. Just note that the circuits output must go to the 5305's (+) Door Trigger Input. I believe that the 2006 F250 had N.C. door triggers. They should test as Chassis Ground when the door is closed and an open when the door is not closed.Soldering is fun!

I ended up just using a relay (+ constant to +momentary) off of the factory dome light relay under the dash.    Works like a charm. Thanks for the responses.   I'll try the double isolation and resistors on the next one.
