Using a properly programmed DB3, with W2W connections to an older viper alarm system.   How do I make the DB3 activate the OEM remote start?   There is a H3/8 "Starter Input" wire on the DB3 that appears to want a +12V input, and a H3/9 "Ignition input" wire that appears to want a +12V input.
If I apply +12V to H3/8 (with nothing on H3/7), nothing happens. Please clue me in on how to activate the OEM RS.

I don't think you can trigger the factory remote start with the viper alarm. Your options with the DB3 are
1) RSR Remote Start ready.. 3X lock , RF system or a Start start
2) RXT Range Extender ... RF system [you need the Xl202 with an rf kit] or Smart smart

Big thanks!   That is exactly what I needed to know.
