The Viper alarm on my wife's 2013 Mustang GT was installed a few years ago, along with the 508D and 516L modules. Everything works fine, except for the lack of voice messages from the 516L. It announces "Viper armed" and "Viper disarmed", but that's all. It has never said "protected by Viper, stand back", and it has said "Intrusion, door or hood access" only one time. Has anyone else seen this problem before? I'm wondering if it is simply a wire connected wrong, or if the 516L module has been bad all along. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I know this a old post but mine is doing the same thing. was told you have to record the messages and then use the optional 3 trigger wires. i was thinkin it was a bad unit. would be nice if someone knew for sure
