Compustar CM7000 Reservation Mode Issue

Hello everyone, I'm having issues with my Compustar CM7000 Maxit not going into reservation mode. I have the Pro T13 remote. My car is a 2007 Ford Mustang GT manual trans. When I stop the car and put it in neutral, set E-brake, release foot brake, remove key, the engine will continue running. When I open and close the door, the interior lights and dash lighting shuts off after a few seconds as they should, engine shuts off within 10 seconds, doors lock but then unlocks by themselves within 2 seconds. The strange thing is that my aftermarket gauges and Pioneer stereo remains on this whole time. All other lighting shuts off normally. Something is keeping them on mysteriously. This never happened before the Compustar install. They always turned off when I remove the key. When I activate remote start on the Pro T13 remote, I get a "remote start error 07" and the parking lights flash 3 times, pause, and then flash 5 times. This indicates the foot brake is on according to this table below. I know the connection is good because my doors lock automatically when I start the car and step on the brake. Any idea what's causing this? My foot brake wiring: Compustar CN5-Pin 4 Light Blue/White(Brake 12V positive (+) input) --> Green wire at switch above brake pedal I have the OP500 so I can change any settings if necessary. Update: I got the remote start feature working. Reservation mode now works. Doors lock and stays locked after I close the door and the engine turns off. I can then remote start it. The problem was that I had CN5 pin 10 red/white (-) wire connected to the light green/yellow (-) dome lamp wire at the gray 26-pin plug in the smart junction box (SJB). This was recommended in every search I found but was apparently causing the issue. "CN5 - Pin 10 Red/White – [PIC 4] Door zone input (-/+) Jumper programmable polarity: When using (-) jumper setting this wire can be used as a programmable input channel (PIC). This wire monitors negative (-) or positive (+) trigger door-pins. The proper wire in the vehicle, will provide a (-) trigger or a (+) trigger only when the doors are opened. You will need to test the wire for proper polarity and set the jumper on the control module for the corresponding polarity" I found the solution on a Mustang forum. I made the change as below.... 1. Connect a wire with 1N4001 diode (band facing towards CM module) to lt.green/black wire in SJB black 26 pin plug, pin 2. 2. Connect another wire with 1N4001 diode (band facing towards CM module) to yellow/lt. green wire in SJB black 26 pin plug, pin 6. 3. Connect both of the above wires to CN5-pin 10 red/white wire from CM module. 4. Set the jumper on the CM module for (+) door trigger input instead of (-). The only thing left now is trying to figure out why the radio and aftermarket gauges stay on while all other interior lights turn off in reservation mode.

Likely it's the RAP. The radio and accessories remain on after the ignition is turned off until either the driver's door is opened OR the RAP timer times out. In your case the ignition is turning off but you haven't opened the door to get out (from the cars perspective).

That's what I was thinking but I do open the door and the radio & aftermarket gauges stay on. It has something to do with reservation mode keeping them on. Here are the sequence of events after parking the car and to go into reservation mode. 1. Put car in neutral 2. Set E-brake 3. Release foot brake 4. Remove key Engine stays running 5. Open door and get out 6. Close door 7. Engine shuts off and doors lock Car is now in reservation mode I think the radio and gauges should power off at this point but they don't. I'm thinking of putting a relay between the radio and accessory delay relay that will interrupt power to the radio when the alarm is armed. I edited the images below to explain it better.

With relay terminal 86 going to 12V constant, you will drain your battery within a couple days or so if the vehicle sits with the alarm armed. Connect terminal 86 to terminal 30 so the relay coil is only energized when the alarm is armed and 12V is coming from the accessory delay relay. the12volt • Support the12volt.com

Oh I hadn't thought of that but I'm a little confused. Are you saying to put a jumper wire between 86 and 30 like this?

Almost... Do not connect 86 to 12V constant. Everything else is correct. the12volt • Support the12volt.com
