So Ive installed a CS7900 (CM900AS) Have all wires connected the way idata shows and the high power ignition harness connected to. lock/unlock isnt doing anything with the locks,(from my understanding its suppose to control locks and trunk) just sets the alarm. Ive gone through the tach learn process, but it will not start. Ever thing comes on live the key is in the ignition and the chime for the ignition chimes, but it will not turn over. It trys 3 times and then give me error 8 which is Tach or tachless sensing failure.
Vehicle is an 2007 Toyota Camry with Standard key

Was the blade flashed with the correct firmware ? Did you go through the programming process ?

did you hook up a second starter wire? Should be 2 starter wires blue is the main one and grey would be second which you'd need a relay to energize. You also have 2 ignition wires yellow and pink. usually use the poc #2 blue/green pin 2 on the cn3 as 2nd starter wire. Can change it easier with a op500

33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!

Sorry its taken so long for me to respond. I did flash it on idata and this is the wiring i followed. As My starter was sold as a 7900AS, I assumed this wiring was correct as everything matched up on every wiring diagram I had.
Wiring
the blue/green wire i used to be able to lock the door as the blade wasnt even doing that. I guess I completely misunderstood what the blade al was saying it did because even with following the wiring guide from idata, it wouldnt even control the door locks. So as for now Im just giving up on the remote start. I got the security system to work on it and thats the main reason i got it. Just had hoped the remote start would be an added bonus. Thank you for your replies.
