DEI 535T Oddity, 2016 Honda Civic

Okay, down to basics. I've installed these modules in my 8th gen civic, my 9th gen civic. They work great. Installing them on the 10th gen civic is a nightmare. I decided to buy a 10th gen window motor to bench test, along with a new deep cycle battery, and new DEI535T modules. So, long story short, it is not the wiring of the car. There is an issue where at the end of travel, either up or down, sometimes the stall current cuts power, other times the DEI doesn't cut power and the motor keeps taking current more and more till it heats or damages itself. Since I bench tested this out of the car with new hardware (battery, motor, module) without extending wires, I will show you the video of what happens. Listen to the "click" at the end of travel, it doesn't always happen, and i have to tap the up or down wire on the positive terminal on battery just to stop the current from feeding into the stalled motor. https://youtu.be/MV3JKhdsQEg In any case, I ordered some 9th gen rear motors to test with, I wonder if their bolt pattern and harness are the same, they look very similar online. Maybe cross-transplanting may be my only option, otherwise, anything I can do to "help" the 535t work on the stock motor? perhaps some huge resistors or something? I don't see any reports online of this behaviour, ever, maybe no one did a 10th gen yet?

SOLVED. ACI motors work better than factory. I replaced all mine, and they work 100% with the 535T modules. Also, the alternative to get the 535T working properly on the crappy OEM motors, use 3x 50W 6 Ohm resistors in parallel with the motor contacts. This puts a 6-7 Amp load along with the motor and the 535T senses the correct EMF to cut power at end of travel. Hope this helps someone who runs into an issue with the 535T 😁
