Hi
I lost my master key and had to reseed to delete old key and program new key. My viper remote used to work but I guess the idatalink ads-al bypass was programmed to my old key? I tried to reset idatalink. I managed to get the doors to lock and unlock and I think I might have even programmed the new key to the bypass. At first it would only crank but wouldn't start due to mismatched key. After many times trying to figure out this ads-al it now only flashes the odometer gauge lights
Like 7times which I think means it's stuck on manual transmission mode? I got automatic trans. Does anyone know how to program the ads-al to automatic transmission. I've tried for so long. TIA Viper Remote Start Won’t Start Car After Key Reseed -- posted image.

I think it's the Viper blinking the Parking Light 7 times and the Viper needs to be set to AT Modes, not the ADS AL-CA. You didn't mention which Viper model you have but there is probably an Install Guide for it in the Downloads Section.

I think I flipped the toggle switch when I reset the bypass. I flipped the switch back and it is now cranking again without starting the car. The brake lights flash 4 times after I cancel the Remote start. I tried so many ways to program the key to the bypass. I can switch to green light 1,2,3,4 flashes and also red flashes for a separate menu? when I push and hold the button on 1 flash to program, the light turns red if I hold it longer the red flashes and seems to turn off the module. Sometimes it stays solid green or red sometimes flashing red or green. I followed many tutorials but non seem to work.

2010 camry le 2.5 with viper 7752v two-way and ads-al as in the picture above. It worked fine before deleting the old master key. Thanks for helping and happy turkey day.

Does the ignition key have a "G" or an "o" stamped on the metal near the black plastic head? Slightly different wiring and programming procedure for each.

OK, standard 40 bit transponder key. Take a look at the ADS AL-CA. On the side with the LED and push button, is there a 10 Pin harness plugged in or just the 4 Pin harness going to the Viper?
Assuming no 10 Pin harness, this is the programming procedure.
First the Factory Reset :
1. Disconnect all the ADS AL-CA harnesses except the 4 Pin harness on the LED side of module.
2. Disconnect the 4 Pin harness.
3. Press and hold the ADS AL-CA programming button.
4. Insert the 4 Pin harness.
5. Release the programming button as soon as the LED starts blinking Red.
6. The LED will go solid Red for 2 seconds and then go out.
At this point the LED will start doing a single Green blink. Being as you want DBI D2D mode, after a few single Green blinks, press and hold the programming button while the LED goes solid Green for 2 seconds and then out. Release the programming button. DATA Mode is now locked in.
Vehicle programming :
1. Reconnect all used ADS AL-CA harnesses.
2. Insert Black Master key into ignition cylinder.
3. Turn key to ON position. (Don't start the engine.)
4. The LED will flash Green once.
5. Turn the key to OFF.
6. Remove the key. Wait 5 seconds.
7. Insert the same key into the ignition cylinder. ( Don't turn it.)
8. After a bit (less than 10 seconds) the LED will go solid Green and then go off.
9. Remove the key.
At this point the ADS AL-CA is programmed to the Camry. The Viper should be able to control the door locks and pop the trunk. Next you can try a R/S. Watch the ADS AL-CA's LED. It should flash Green if everything is working properly.

The gob says 7752v. The ads-al is connected to the viper. 1 black hard harness on the side of the button and the 4pin. The 3 white connectors on the other side. After reset the ads light stays off. When insert the key it goes solid red until I turn the key at which point it flashes green once and back to solid red. I remove the key wait 5 secs and insert the key without turning. The red light flashes green and red fast then turns off. (After it flashes red and green do I remove the key or turn the car on or press any buttons on the viper fob?) I remove the key and try lock and unlock but the cluster lights flash only and RS only cranks. The ads light is off even during RS. It flashes cluster 3x after failed RS. I hold the button to turn the light solid green. Then I press it starts flashing 1x 2x etc. If I insert the key when RS it starts right up. The crank time on the RS is 1/2 what is use to be too. Thanks! for helping btw
