Securing Service Body Van

Good evening all . I recently purchased an enclosed service body van with access to the toolboxes from outside what will be the sensors or switches to secure those toolboxes or is there any other suggestions thank you for your help in advance really appreciate it.Thank you all

Enclosed service body like a Knapheide KUV? If so, then I would recommend magnetic switches. You'll have no problems securing the magnets to the doors, but you may need to use a double sided adhesive (VHB or UHB) to mount the magnetic switches to the body...to avoid running screws through the sheet metal. Wipe everything down with denatured alcohol before mounting anything with the double sided tape. Wire all of your switches in parallel and tie them into the (-) trunk trigger or (-) instant trigger on your alarm module. - I recommend protecting all wiring with 1/4" split wall polyethylene or nylon loom - Use a snap bushing like the Heyco 2053 for loomed wire that has to pass thru any 1/2" holes you have to drill through the body for wire routing - You may use silicone or Norton rope caulk to seal any wire routing holes that will be exposed to water - I recommend using Adhesive cable clips similar to these to secure loomed wiring up and out of the way Note: The nomenclature used for magnetic switches can be a little deceiving. You will need NCOL (normally closed open loop) magnetic switches. They will provide a closed loop when the magnet is to far away from the magnetic switch. If you plan on mounting switches on the hinge side, then use a magnetic switch with an operating range around 1". If you are going to mount the switches on the door opening side then you may need switches with an operating range around 1.5"-3.0"
