I am planning to install fortin (evo-all) as by pass and 5706V viper. The confusion part is that 10 thick wires to my xterra. Especially, starter 1 and starter 2 wires in fortin installation manual. Also clutch bypass.
some xterra forum member mentioned quote "If you install it as an automatic and connect the automatic neutral safety wire to the manual transmission neutral safety wire if it is in gear it will not try to start you will get a remote start error and your lights will flash stating the error. Once in neutral it will start again. It works in the same manner as an automatic would."
Is this true?
This is my kind of wiring diagram for my installation. what do you think? thank you sharing knowledge. appreciate it

Its absolutely meant to do that when its hooked up right. If you leave it in gear and RS it its gonna take off which is what no one wants. I am not really sold on doing RS on manual trans even with the safety features in place, I turned them away every time. Make sure tach is connected to a fuel injector, black/white neutral safety wire is hook to the cars neutral safety wire or e brake, and door status and you use the RS in manual transmission mode and do the sequence every time you get out of the truck. I don't know much about fortin and how reliable there outputs are on there bypass module over data so ay if it will be accurate every time
33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
