i have a 2005 f250 i am trying to hook up airhorns and use the factory horn switch to trigger the relay powering the small compressors. the factory horn wire is dark blue and showing as (-) but it has 12volt when resting. when i hit the horn and have my multimeter hooked to the blue wire, it then drops to zero volts.
Is this a correct negative trigger?
i have a spdt relay wired currently to converte negative input to positive output by using a momentary switch inside the cab, which is connected to ground but i'd rather use the factory horn on the steering wheel itself.
thanks in advance for any help. it's been a little while since i've done an install LOL

So then I can just eliminate the switch and tap into the blue wire and that'll work?
