2010 Nissan Sentra, Remote Starter Bypass Issue

Hello everyone, I installed remote start on my 2010 nissan sentra last fall, but for some reason the bypass doesn't wanna work with the car. I have 2 different modules. idatalink ADS-ALCA I can't remember the model of the other idatalink. I'll see if I can find the box. One says it accepts the programming. One doesn't accept programming (ADS-ALCA). Just flashes red Will start find if the key is placed in the ignition. And stay running when removed. Any insight into what I have done wrong? Regards

A few questions : 1. What brand / model R/S system? 2. Are you going W2W or D2D between the R/S and the iDatalink module? 3. Did you flash the correct firmware onto the iDatalink module ( NI-4 )? 4. Did you set the iDatalink Installation Mode prior to vehicle programming? Soldering is fun!

It's a Autostart system. I have tried both hardware mode and 2 way modes. Get same result. I had bought the USB connection for the idatalink module, and programed it for a 2010 Nissan Sentra with intelligent key I believe it was called. It as been a while since I done anything with it. I've tried reseting the idatalink reprogramming it. The lights flash saying it ready to accept programming. One does what it's suppose to do, and the other just flashes red lights

do you have a key that in stick in the ignition? or is it push to start? the Intelligent key is either Push to start, or "nissans key tumbler" you turn.. all others is standard key.. Also for the autostart, set the Protocol on the al-ca to DBI, and you can use either the ADS/DBI port on the Autostart, either works...

It's a key you have to insert.

if it's a key you insert and turn, it's the Standard key, not intelligent key. so you have the use the clock wire, and immo data wire..

I managed to get at this between rain. Sorry guys it's not a Autostart, it's a prostart. I flashed the ADS-ALCA to Firmware: DBI-AL(DL)-NI4 v1.8, and chose DBI, 2 way mode and hardware mode. Each time when programming the key, as soon as you turn the key forward it starts flashing red. It's stays this way until you reset it, and keeps doin that. I flashed the ADS-DLSL CA2(I assume same firmware, forgot to take a picture), for 2 way mode and hardware mode. It doesn't have a DBI option. When you turn the key forward it flashes green and goes out, so accepts programming. But when you try to start it with the remote start lights come on but won't crank over. Noticed today that no lights come on the module when I press the start button. According to the guide it say it's not getting the ground while running. I'm totally at a loss right now. Not sure what else I can do.

No I did not. I gave up on it, I'll just have to leave the key in the ignition when it gets cold again.
