I do not want to replace the factory head unit but i still want to add subs and an amp. I am planning on hooking up a line level converter on the speaker outputs from the rear factory amp. I was wondering where the factory amp is located and/or what color the speaker wire outputs are. Any help or recommendations on doing this would be appreciated.

Factory amp? There is none, unless you have the Bose system. Do you?

I don't know about the factory amp location, but you could always find the leads at the speakers themselves. Make sure that if there are two sets of wires going to each speaker you use the ones for the woofers; otherwise you'll be feeding your aftermarket amp high frequencies.

If the word Bose is on the speaker grill on the doors then the amplifier is under the rear of the center console. Start taking out every screw you see in the console to get to it. The console must be almost removed/lifted up to get to it. WARNING Disconnect the negative battery cable before removing or inserting the plug into the amp or it may blow up. This is no joke! If you want to get to the wiring it is also accessible under the cup holders in the center console trim.
