I've searched the forum, and if this question is posted someplace, I can't find it...sorry if it's a repeat.

Is it possible to retain the factory priority lock operation with an aftermarket security/remote start system? The system I have (Auto Page 850) supports the function, but I can't find info on the wiring terminations. Also, I can't seem to locate the factory alarm disable wire either. Anyone help me out with this? 99 Blazer w/ factory keyless entry and security.

Thanks,

~Taiji

The disarm wire is in the drivers kick panel i believe its light green. As for the door locks if you have a alarm installation manual its usually has the wiring in the back for driver priority if not i can send ya one.

Yeah, there are a couple of light green wires coming from the door, but they seem to be associated with the windows. I'm guessing it should show (-) (neg) when unlocked with the remote?  The install manual only provided a schematic for making up a driver side priority lock setup when not already installed.  I'm hoping to make use of the existing setup, but can't find the necessary data on making the terminations. Anything you can provied would be great.

Thanks

The disarm wire can be found in the purple plug of the BCM. The BCM is located under the center of the dash ahead of the floor console. You will need to drop the underdash black panels to access it. You can't use the factory's door unlock priority system as it is built into the BCM/keyless entry module. You must wire in your own relay to isolate the driver's door lock motor wires.
