Is remote start Good Or Not

I heard they have some type of draw-back on remote start, that your car could still be taking when u remote start your car, is that true

huh not in most. In most current cars in order for you to shift out of gear you have to press the brake pedal. On all RS as soon as the brake pedal is pressed the RS will shut down.

Its still kinda hard to shift without the key. The steering column remains locked until the key is used
Some systems will also shut down the remote start when the RPM's get too high.
A remote start can make it a little easier for certain people to steal your car. But those are the same people that could steal your car anyways. Not something I would worry about.

they still cant shift out cause the wire that the RS uses is also the wire that lets the little lock off the shifter. Granted if they cut the RS wire they car will still run and they can take off with it but for only as long as you have the RS programmed for mostly 15-25 mins

and they wont get far not being able to turn the locked steering wheel
