Hello,

I'm install a Omega Research C2Plus alarm on my 1988 Dodge Ram Van. The only thing I can't figure out is the door lock. The Van does come with factory doorlock. Do I need to get relay or not to get it working. Any help is appreciated.

Hey angelofmy,

The doorlocks on your truck are one of the toughest to do and even seasoned installers blow fuses so be sure to understand the diagram below before attempting it.

You'll need two relays.  Find a Pink wire coming from the drivers door, this is the unlock wire.  Find an Orange wire coming from the drivers door, this is the lock wire.  These wires will have to be cut which give you four ends labeled SWITCH and MOTOR below.
